ArtLease by Foundation Barossa
For a fraction of the cost of ownership, Foundation Barossa’s ArtLease program gives you the opportunity to support your community and to enhance your business, workspace or home office by leasing an award-winning artwork from the Barossa Vintage Festival collection. Leasing through ArtLease may be tax-deductible as a business expense.
Funds from the program will support the running of the foundation, with a percentage returned to the Regional Gallery to support the Vintage Festival art prize.
A catalogue of available artworks can be viewed on the Foundation Barossa website. We’ll also provide an art advisor who will come to your workplace to understand your space and preferences.
Artworks are available for between $1,000 and $2000 per year. Insurance is compulsory, however, most insurance companies will add the leased artwork to your standard contents policy for little or no extra cost.
You are responsible for transport of the artwork between the Barossa Regional Gallery or the private collector and your workplace. All artworks are packed in custom-made archive boxes, and our art advisor will supervise the hanging of the work.
Once you have chosen your artwork, you’ll sign an agreement for 12 months. Leases can be extended for a further year (depending on the availability of the piece), or you can choose a new artwork.
